From 2022, Ultra X will host the Ultra X World Championships, a 250km, five day race between the greatest multi-stage ultra runners in the world. Taking place every two years, the event will bring together the current best performers, each of whom must qualify for entry by competing in other Ultra X races (see qualification rules).

Ultra X Scotland 2022 was the last of our World Championships qualifying races this year. Check out who’s claimed a spot for the big event.

Director’s Report – Ultra X Scotland 2022

Ultra X Scotland 2022 had it all. Sunshine, beautiful trails and some of the most stunning views across Loch Ness and the Scottish Highlands. Runners took on either 125km over 2 days or 50km over one day around the loch in our biggest UK weekend race to date, finishing up on the shores of the loch under the famous blue arch.
