Ultra X Jordan 2020 will be the 5th anniversary of this epic race and we think a good time for it to have it’s first ‘birthday’. To celebrate, this Anniversary Edition will be slightly different…
Those joining us for the 2020 race can expect:
~ ‘The Long Stage’ to be the longest ever
(Fear not however, it will ‘only’ be jumping a few km (well 5km to be exact) to around 73km in total ?).
~ Special commemorative anniversary medals for all finishers
(As always, those that finish the event in under 30 hours will receive a white ribbon, rather than a blue ribbon).
The Anniversary Edition will also be our biggest race ever, with over 150 of you taking to the dunes of Wadi Rum, the land of Lawrence of Arabia.
Here is a brief run-through of the week for those unfamiliar:
Saturday 3rd October: Land in Amman, Jordan
Sunday 4th October: Race registration, kit checks and coach transfer down to the desert
Friday: 40km followed by prize giving, desert BBQ and celebratory drinks!
Saturday 10th October: Coach transfers back to Amman
Sunday 11th October: Flights depart home
For those looking to take on a classic desert multi-stage ultramarathon, Ultra X Jordan 2020 ‘Anniversary Edition’ is absolutely the one for you. Oh, and it’s only £995 ?
