Those joining us for the 2020 race can expect:
- ‘The Long Stage’ to be the longest ever(Fear not however, it will ‘only’ be jumping a few kilometres (well 5km to be exact) to around 73km in total)
- Special commemorative anniversary medals for all finishers(As always, those that finish the event in under 30 hours will receive a white ribbon, rather than a blue ribbon)
The Anniversary Edition will also be our biggest race ever, with over 150 of you taking to the dunes of Wadi Rum, the land of Lawrence of Arabia.
Itinerary
Here is a brief run-through of the week for those unfamiliar:
Saturday 3rd October: Land in Amman, Jordan Sunday 4th October: Race registration, kit checks and coach transfer down to the desert
Monday: 46km Tuesday: 45km Wednesday: 73km Thursday: 46km Friday: 40km followed by prize giving, desert BBQ and celebratory drinks!
Saturday 10th October: Coach transfers back to Amman Sunday 11th October: Flights depart home
