Instagram Live With Kevin Webber: Running Ultra Marathons with Terminal Cancer
The man, the myth, the legend. Kevin is a total inspiration to all of us here and we’re so proud to working with him on #RunAroundTheWorldWithKev.
Kevin Webber is a great friend of Ultra X. In October 2019, he took on and smashed Ultra X Jordan. He is a wonderful man and a constant beacon of light. He is also a terminal prostate cancer patient.
In November 2014, aged 49, Kev was given the news that he had what is “effectively terminal” prostate cancer and may only live as short as two years… but in 2020 he is still here in and raising funds to battle the biggest cancer affecting men – prostate cancer. Since the diagnosis he has taken on some of the world’s most difficult ultra marathons, in order to raise both funds and awareness for the charity that helps men like him.
In association with Kev, this New Year’s Eve Ultra X have launched their #RunAroundTheWorldWithKev challenge to raise funds for Prostate Cancer.
December 21st 2020 is Kevin’s 365th consecutive day running which started with the Ultra X #Holiday100 challenge last year. The #RunAroundTheWorldWithKev challenge gives everyone the opportunity to end one year and start another with a new goal that will take you on an amazing journey.
