What’s the challenge?!
Ultra X Mexico starts at the magic town of Creel situated 2,345 metres above sea level. So, we are challenging YOU to climb there. That’s 7,693 feet/2,345 metres in 100 hours. That’s roughly 586m per day if you spread it out but you can increase it over a shorter number of days too. Whatever suits you.
Now we know that’s a lot so we are going to be rewarding everyone for just taking part. Whether you’re climbing Arthur’s Seat in Scotland, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania or simply your local viewpoint, if you climb up it enough to reach the total, and tag us @ultraxco and we’ll send you a free Ultra X buff.
Those who like to run with their GPS can sign up for the challenge and log their efforts on the Ultra X RC Strava page. We will share the best posts on our social media each day of the challenge. Top points for those of you getting friends to join and/or find us a serious viewpoint.
What’s in it for me?
As well as working on that summer bod, you’ve got an excuse to forget about pace, miles and just go out and find some hills for once. It’s an opportunity to trial a new route and just think of the views your going to get when you get up there!
- All those that join in will get a FREE Ultra X Buff sent to them!
- The person who gets the most vert within the time frame and posts it on Strava tagging Ultra X will receive a FREE PLACE TO Ultra X Mexico this November 2-10.
- Everyone who manages to complete the challenge and lets us know by tagging us and joining our Strava group will get a FREE ticket to the Ultra X Summit, plus be entered into a ballot for a completely FREE Ultra X Mexico place! Winner to be announced midday on July 17th!
