Emily Young didn’t find sport until the ripe old age of 19. She will admit herself that she was not the most athletic girl at school and was more concerned about how her hair looked than how fast she could run!
However, she’s now very proud to say that she’s a 2x marathoner, 4x Ironman, and now an ultra marathon finisher! We chatted about her first experience running an ultra marathon in the interview below.

The inaugural Ultra X World Championships showcased the best of the best ultra runners as they took on the challenging trails of Slovenia. This report focuses on the front end of the field, this is after all the World Championships, but that is not to play testament to the entire class of 2022.
