Being An Ultra X Performance Partner
Written By Sam Heward
Sam is one of the Ultra X Co-Founders. If he's not actually out running, chances are he's busy writing about it (or plotting Ultra X strategy!)
Brad is an strength and conditioning coach, ex-Royal Marine and a big fan of putting his body through all kinds of craziness, including 100km races, 12 hour treadmill challenges and one of our own 125km races late last year (Ultra X 125 England).
We talked to Brad all about his personal ultra experience, including being an Ultra X performance partner, as well as answering any of your training questions. We discuss the importance of S&C and why resilience – both mental and physical – is key in taking on these races. This is a great watch for first time ultra runners.
