Ultra X Sri Lanka announces Sustainability Partner for 2022 race
Ultra X have announced local sustainability partner for Ultra X Sri Lanka 2022.
Ultra X is pleased to announce its partnership with Sustainability Labs for Ultra X Sri Lanka 2022.
Sustainability Labs will be measuring the carbon footprint, water and energy use, and waste generation during the course of the ultra marathon so that Ultra X can reduce their carbon footprint in future events.
We want to be the market leader in the ultramarathon sector, but more importantly, we want to deliver memorable and engaging experiences in a manner that positively impacts our community, our partners, our host countries, and the planet. This partnership demonstrates our continued commitment to prioritize sustainable practices in the management of our events and business.
After the event Sustainability Labs will be providing opportunities to offset greenhouse gas emissions produced by the travel arrangements of all the participants through a unique clean energy project based in Sri Lanka.
