Back in Novem­ber 2018 Ultra X were approached by the co-founders of Tribe, Tom, Rob and Guy to assist with cre­at­ing the third instal­ment of their epic Run For Love series. Cre­at­ing chal­lenges to push the mind and the body is in our DNA and so we jumped at the chance to do some­thing which would also align with such a bril­liant cause- to raise £250,000 for the Tribe Free­dom Found­a­tion. One week on from Run For Love we are re-liv­ing the week by video. Here’s the first couple of days, show­ing the run­ners waves of emo­tions as they take on the world’s toughest island race.

Hav­ing arrived into the Island of Sao Miguel over the week­end and been briefed on what lay ahead of them, on Monday morn­ing the run­ners gathered togeth­er in the main square of Pon­ta Del­gada before head­ing off along the coast and onto the trails.
